In 2011, XPEL revolutionize the industry with the first self-healing paint protection film. When exposed to high temperatures (above 50 degrees Celsius), XPEL’s clear coat employs special elastomeric polymers that “heal” over time, eliminating swirl marks and other fine scratches without having to do anything.

The mirror smooth finish of XPEL ULTIMATE ensures that no unwanted texture, commonly referred to as “orange-peel,” is added to the appearance of your car, leaving the protected surface indistinguishable from the factory paint. Moreover, it increases car gloss up to 40%.

XPEL PPF has high anti-corrosion properties, it acts as a barrier to inhibit the contact between chemical compounds or corrosive materials that can harm the car’s original paint, such as tree sap, acid rain, bird dropping, grease and etc.

The RAAT (Reactive Acrylic Adhesive Technology) used by XPEL does not contain harmful organic solvents, which has changed the traditional solvent acrylic technology. XPEL’s Acrylic adhesive won’t leave any residue or damage to the car paints upon removing.

Nearly 99% of car paint fading is caused by oxidation. Prolonged exposure to air and ultraviolet rays will cause oxidation and fading. XPEL PPF can block the contact of oxygen and ultraviolet rays with the car paint.

XPEL PPF provides high mechanical strength that can withstand more than 15MPa and tensile elongation of more than 200%. This means stone chips will not get in your way.

Metal dust and grit will directly cause scratches on the car paint and severely cause permanent scratches. XPEL’s PPF can well protect the paint surface.

XPEL Design Access Program (DAP11) has more than 120,000 pre-cut data built in. The cutting precision is controlled at about 0.22CM. The pre-cut pattern increased the efficiency of PPF installation and most important thing is that the whole vehicle is not disassembled.

Pre-cut maintain the original naturalness of the film, reduce the risk of edge formation, reduce the risk of damage to the film caused by excessive pulling, and provide a balance between the stretching and pressing of the paint protective film.
