XPEL CHARTS NEW WATERS:

THE GLOBAL AUTHORITY IN SURFACE PRESERVATION TO DEBUT AT THE 2026 SINGAPORE YACHTING FESTIVAL

SINGAPORE — Building on landmark showcases at the Thailand International Boat Show 2026 and the Japan International Boat Show 2026, XPEL (NASDAQ: XPEL)—the global leader in advanced protection film technologies—will make a distinguished appearance at the Singapore Yachting Festival 2026. This milestone rearms XPEL’s position at the forefront of automotive, architectural, and now marine protection across Asia. Under the global leadership of Ryan Tounsley, XPEL Director of Marine, and Jason Carr, XPEL North America Marine Manager, together with John Shieh, Operations Director of XPEL Malaysia, the company continues to set the gold standard in safeguarding the world’s most valuable assets—from high-performance supercars and luxury residences to world-class yachts.

The XPEL Legacy: Protecting the Exceptional

XPEL’s journey is defined by innovation, precision, and an uncompromising commitment to excellence—trusted by discerning owners of the world’s most prestigious marques and properties.

Automotive Mastery

Founded in San Antonio, Texas in 1997, XPEL transformed the automotive protection industry with its proprietary Design Access Program (DAP)—the world’s first pre-cut design pattern software, featuring over 120,000 precision-engineered templates for automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, and even timepieces. Today, more than 20 million vehicles worldwide—including icons such as Bugatti, Pagani, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and other elite marques—are safeguarded by XPEL products, preserving flawless paintwork, showroom brilliance, and long-term value.

The Self-Healing Revolution

In 2011, XPEL pioneered the world’s first self-healing Paint Protection Film (PPF)—a breakthrough innovation where fine scratches and swirl marks vanish with heat. This technology remains the global benchmark for invisible, enduring protection.

A Publicly Listed Standard of Excellence

Since 2019, XPEL has been listed on NASDAQ (XPEL), standing as the only publicly traded company solely dedicated to protective film technologies. This distinction underscores XPEL’s transparency, innovation, and global trust.

Certified to the Highest Standards

XPEL products consistently meet and exceed internationally recognized certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SGS (Swiss and North America), RoHS, and NFRC, ensuring safety from toxic and harmful substances. Furthermore, XPEL Window Films are endorsed by the International Window Film Association (IWFA) and the Skin Cancer Foundation.

ARCHITECTURAL ELEGANCE:
THE VISION™ SERIES & SURFACE PROTECTION FILM

Extending its automotive heritage into the realm of luxury living, XPEL delivers precision-engineered solutions for high-end residences, penthouses, and premium commercial spaces—where glass, stone, and surface finishes define the language of modern architecture.

The VISION™ Architectural Window Film Series

At the forefront is the VISION™ Architectural Window Film Series, designed for expansive glass facades and interiors. The collection includes Solar Control Films, Security Films, Decorative Films, Exterior Films, and Specialty Films inspired by innovation. Within this specialty line, the Bird Safe Dotted Film stands out as a refined fusion of sustainability, safety, and design. Engineered as a security window film, it features a subtle dotted pattern that enables birds to recognize glass surfaces—significantly reducing collisions that often result in fatalities. In addition, the film acts as a reinforcing barrier during impact, helping to hold shattered glass in place, enhancing occupant safety while preserving the integrity of the facade. All of this is achieved while maintaining clear, comfortable views and architectural elegance.

Surface Protection Film (SPF)

Beyond glass, XPEL extends its protection to the surfaces that define everyday luxury. The Surface Protection Film (SPF) is a virtually invisible, self-healing layer engineered for marble countertops, natural stone, and delicate interior finishes. Resistant to etching, chemical exposure, staining, and daily wear, SPF ensures that these high-value surfaces retain their original brilliance, clarity, and pristine condition over time.

FROM ROAD TO RESIDENCE TO OPEN WATERS

XPEL’s evolution is a natural progression—born in the world of high-performance automotive protection, refined within luxury architectural spaces, and now engineered for the uncompromising demands of the marine environment. What began as a solution to preserve flawless paintwork has matured into a complete ecosystem designed to protect the world’s most valuable surfaces, wherever they reside.

MARINE AUTHORITY: ENGINEERED FOR THE ELITE

“The marine environment presents a true test of endurance—saltwater corrosion, intense UV exposure, and constant abrasion,” says John Shieh, Operations Director of XPEL Malaysia. “Our expansion into Singapore is about more than aesthetics—it is about preserving the value, performance, and lifestyle these vessels represent.” XPEL’s marine solutions are meticulously engineered for superyachts, performance cruisers, and luxury vessels, delivering uncompromising protection in the harshest conditions.

Marine Protection Film (MPF):

Designed to last 5-7+ years, this film features heat-activated self-healing technology. Minor scratches from “dock rash,” fenders, or fishing gear disappear when exposed to the sun (35°C+). It serves as a sacrificial barrier for high-traffic “Boarding Zones,” preventing the “sandpaper effect” of salt crystals on gelcoat.

Marine Ceramic Coating:

Offering a high-gloss, hydrophobic finish, that repels organic sea scum, salt crystal, sunscreen, and grime. It also addresses the “hidden fuel penalty” by reducing surface friction, which can improve fuel efficiency by up to 10–15%.

Marine Nano-Ceramic Window Film:

Crucial for marine safety, this 100% non-metallic film avoids the galvanic cell effect, preventing rust or discoloration in salt spray. It blocks 99% of harmful UV rays and provides superior solar heat rejection along with crystal clear clarity without interfering with GPS, Bluetooth, or radio navigation signals.

Surface & Screen Protection:

Specialized films for marine displays and interior wet bars, protecting against the acidic etching of alcohol, citrus, and “Sunscreen Pollution,” which can deposit up to 35kg of damaging oils on a vessel’s surfaces in high-traffic areas.

WHY MARINE PROTECTION IS ESSENTIAL?

Saltwater conducts electricity up to 800 times more efficiently than freshwater, creating a highly aggressive environment that accelerates galvanic corrosion and structural degradation such as osmosis blisters—commonly referred to as “boat acne.” Traditional gelcoat restoration requires aggressive mechanical compounding every 2–3 years, with costs ranging from USD $3,500 to over $50,000 depending on vessel size (20ft to 45ft+). This repeated abrasion gradually thins the surface, permanently compromising hull integrity and diminishing its mirror-like finish. XPEL eliminates this destructive cycle through a one-time preventative solution, sealing and protecting surfaces to maintain showroom-quality brilliance while significantly reducing the need for ongoing, abrasive maintenance.

Proven Performance in Demanding Conditions

XPEL’s marine expertise is validated through high-performance applications, including the protection of the 42 ft Tiger Cigarette Boat and the DCB M31 Widebody Speed Boat, where XPEL solutions successfully mitigated paint damage caused by repeated passenger boarding across high-impact areas such as the vessel’s nose.

EXPERIENCE XPEL AT THE SINGAPORE YACHTING FESTIVAL 2026
